The Light Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of light-duty vehicles including sedans, SUVs, and small trucks. This role ensures vehicle reliability, safety, and compliance with operational standards through scheduled servicing and prompt fault resolution.

๐Ÿ“ Key Responsibilities
– Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
– Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
– Inspect vehicle systems (engine, transmission, suspension, steering, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.
– Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards for all work performed.
– Collaborate with fleet supervisors to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
– Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
– Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment and adhere to company safety protocols.
– Stay updated on new vehicle technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
