Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance duties, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors.

🧼 Key Responsibilities
– Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
– Dust and wipe down surfaces, windows, and fixtures
– Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
– Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
– Perform minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing leaks)
– Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions
– Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals
– Lock/unlock buildings and secure premises as needed
– Assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal or lawn care

🧠 Skills & Qualifications
– Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred
– Ability to operate cleaning machinery (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums)
– Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
– Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
– Strong attention to detail and time management
– Basic maintenance or handyman skills a plus
