🛠️ Job Summary
The Construction Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols across construction sites to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing risks, preventing accidents, and fostering a culture of safety among all site personnel.

📝 Key Responsibilities
– Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
– Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
– Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
– Provide safety training and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
– Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
– Monitor the use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools.
– Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, and incident logs.
– Liaise with project managers, engineers, and regulatory bodies on safety matters.
– Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across all project phases.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
| Requirement | Description |
| Education | Diploma or Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field |
| Experience | Minimum 3–5 years in construction safety or HSE roles |
| Certifications | NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent (mandatory or preferred) |
| Skills | Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety training |
| Tools | Familiarity with safety management systems and reporting platforms |
