🛠️ Job Summary
The QC Officer ensures that all construction activities meet established quality standards and project specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting findings, and coordinating with site teams to resolve quality issues. The officer plays a key role in minimizing rework, ensuring compliance, and maintaining client satisfaction.
📝 Key Responsibilities
– Conduct routine inspections of construction works, materials, and equipment.
– Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
– Prepare and implement quality control plans and inspection test plans (ITPs).
– Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) with corrective actions.
– Monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance with quality standards.
– Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
– Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
– Participate in internal and external audits and ensure readiness for client inspections.
– Promote continuous improvement and adherence to ISO, ASTM, and project-specific standards.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
| Requirement | Description |
| Education | Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field |
| Experience | 3–5 years in construction quality control or QA/QC roles |
| Certifications | ISO 9001, ACI, ASQ, or equivalent (preferred) |
| Skills | Strong knowledge of inspection procedures, material testing, and documentation |
| Tools | Familiarity with QC software, reporting platforms, and digital inspection tools |
