🛠️ Job Summary
The Construction Cost Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of construction projects. This role ensures that budgets are accurately prepared, monitored, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The Cost Controller works closely with project managers, procurement teams, and finance departments to ensure cost efficiency, transparency, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

📝 Key Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain detailed project budgets and cost forecasts.
– Monitor actual expenditures against budgeted values and report variances.
– Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
– Support contract administration, including change orders, claims, and payment certificates.
– Prepare periodic financial reports, dashboards, and cost performance summaries.
– Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to validate cost estimates and resource allocations.
– Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and project-specific financial procedures.
– Participate in audits and provide documentation to support financial reviews.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
| Requirement | Description |
| Education | Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Construction Management |
| Experience | Minimum 5–10 years in cost control or financial management within construction |
| Tools | Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP), Excel, and cost control software |
| Certifications | CMA, PMP, or equivalent (preferred) |
| Skills | Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder coordination capabilities |
